Marty sorry to hear the guys were disappointed, but I would have been glad to talk to them out in the hall about the ADHA and they woundn't have had to sit through the seminar.

I too wish they would have given us more time, and I would have taken more if I had been able to speak, but Darrell was only doing what they said he could do.  Shawn the program director, said they didn't let anyone speak at these workshops, they could set up and do all they wanted in the hall or after the meeting, but none are allowed to speak to the public, which we can understand that.

Sorry we labeled it wrong and we need to remember to try to watch it next time we do one of these events.

Thanks for letting us know, the only way we will know is to do things make mistakes and try not to do them again.  Cheesy

I can understand why they where disappointed if they came to hear a meeting about the ADHA.  Sorry for the confusion.  As Jeff said, we are learning as we go, and I sure wish we could have got them boys out in the hall and gave them a talking to. Cheesy

I agree we live and learn as we go, and often learn from our mistakes. In any case, the seminars seemed to have been a success. The lesson learned is to properly title and describe any ADHA involvement in future activities. Some things we wont be able to know until the time is upon us, but we can convey the best information available, and modify it as we learn new inofrmation.

As far as meetings for potential new members go, we need to have regional meetings for that purpose. Any meeting is fine for recruiting, but when we invite new members we just need to be specific about the agenda and ADHA involvement.

A few days back I posted a potential agenda for our meetings. My thinking was mainly to keep an orderly flow to the meeting and be sure that we dont miss any key issues. This post is making me think that maybe we need to post an agenda for anything we do. With an agenda, everyone would have seen that the AG&GF schedule would occupy most of the session.
