This is great David.

In an email send me your SKYPE number. This is the tag you chose when you signed up. We can Skype directly with one another and work out the bugs. [I know your waiting for your hardware] Email your Skype number and I'll text message you.

BTW folks you do not need an up to date computer or operating system to have skype work.

I was using Telephony 14 years ago with my old system then. Also you do need a head set which includes earphones and mic, but you do not need Vidieo cam unless you want to send a picture of self.

Also Video cam only works during one-on-one calls, add a third party and all pictures go away. Presently I do not know a system that supports multiple images.

Hi Teleclass members,

Last Wednesd Paul Nagy suggested that we consider Skype as a possible way to connect with oneanother. I signed up today and ordered a headset and webcam. Once Mary gets the international webcam set up I'm hoping that Skype is the way to go and that the headset and webcam that I ordered from Skype is all that is needed to stay in touch with both Paul's idea and Mary's.

Who else is signing on?  I'm not up on how to use the program yet but hope to up and running by the time the headset and webcam come through the mail.

Paul's idea is a good one.  Smiley
