I'd say you are indeed lucky!

I have just begun this course, and I am very excited and looking forward to it.  I haven't yet escalated to the Degree Candidate Level with the Correspondence Course, but soon!

As a teacher I can understand why you really enjoy the process when you can dig into it in a very real way with a dedicated student.

What could be better than to explore one's passion with another who loves it too?  Sharing our life-knowledge with another seeker is simply THE BEST.

The pleasure of teaching
« on: February 24, 2006, 02:29:32 AM »

Lately, a lot of people have been signing up for the correspondence course degree program. It means a lot of extra work for me because I do all the coaching. But I must say, of all the ways I teach, I love this the best!

The process of learning from this program is slow and deep and very, very full. I know that nowadays there a premium put on speed and efficiency. Everyone is in a hurry to reach whatever goal they've set. In this program, the pleasure is not only in reaching the goal but in enjoying the process.

It's in this process that I get to spread my wings as a teacher and really fly! Likewise, this is a place where tarot students get a chance to see how deep they themselves really are. It might seem silly to say this, but I truly think most people don't value themselves nearly highly enough. To see what they're truly made of, they need a challenge that's worthy of them -- a challenge they can rise to and accomplish grandly.  That's when tarot is at its best.

If I could invent a job with the absolute maximum personal satisfaction, coaching the degree program would be it for me. I guess I'm pretty lucky, huh?

Bright blessings,
Wald
